FSAE Detroit 2006

This year was the tenth consequtive year that Dartmouth Formula Racing has entered a car into the anual Formula SAE competition in Detroit, Michigan. All of the hard work and dedication throughout the year led to the most polished, most powerful, and most finished entry Dartmouth has ever produced. Unfortunately, on the last day of competition the car did not finish the endurance event due to a broken spindle which resulted in the left rear wheel shearing off of the drivetrain assembly and skyrocketing into the air in excess of 30 feet. The team knew that their hard work had not gone to waste and the attitude was positive despite finishing in 48th place overall.
